Client: Debt recovery and Investigation agency
We have completed a recent upgrade of their Head Office client equipment. A recent release of a new version of their web-based Jobs Allocation System serving Head Office and 40 franchisees is currently under test.
Client: Multi-site childcare provider
Apptech provide outsourced IT Support and Services to the Head Office and eight Nursery sites. We have completed a recent upgrade to SBS 2008 and rollout of Windows 7/Office 2007. We are also engaged to setup a prototype Sharepoint environment for their assessment.

It comprises a mix of essential services built around the requirements of YOUR business. All of these services are provided for a fixed monthly charge with NO LIMITS upon their usage.

Helpdesk
An immediate response is quite normal, a one hour response is guaranteed.
Telephone, email and web (via your own portal page) call logging are available. Remote assistance is built-in to our Helpdesk system so that we can provide your users with the most rapid assistance.
Where required there is auto-escalation to on-site support.
No limits on usage.
Network administration
We will provide day to day administration of your network and data storage.
We will take responsibility for user account management, email accounts, distribution and security groups, file and folder security, shares, permissions, remote access and other tasks essential to the secure and efficient running of your servers.
Monitoring
We employ 24 x 7 x 365 monitoring of key server and network events. Our monitoring system works behind the scenes to identify issues before they become a problem. Notifiable events are posted automatically to our Helpdesk for follow-up.
Managed updates
The vast majority of service packs and patch updates are security related. It is therefore vital that these are implemented in an organised manner.
Our managed systems queue and roll-out these updates, once approved, in an orderly manner. This includes deployment across your network at a convenient time.
Routine anti-virus and anti-spam definition updates and version upgrades will also be managed by Apptech.
Auditing and Documentation
Our systems perform ongoing auditing of your network hardware and software license assets.
Audit data forms a part of our site documentation generated at the beginning of our Support Agreement and maintained as things change.
Our Helpdesk and Field Engineers will have access to this information at all times.
Mobile support
Remote working and the use of mobile devices is growing apace. It's therefore vital that your support agreement caters for this.
The support of mobile workers, Smartphones, Blackberry, terminal services and VPN connections is included.
Kit installs
Included in the support contract is the installation of new client equipment.
Using an agreed and documented client build, new machines will be pre-configured at our premises prior to on-site installation and handover to the user.
Reporting
You will be provided with a monthly Helpdesk report detailing calls logged, open/closed status and responsibilities.
There will also be a quarterly review with your Account Manager to discuss ongoing strategy, use of technology, recommendations, upcoming projects and any concerns.
Hardware maintenance
It is not usually sufficient to reply upon manufacturer's warranty for key network equipment. Our hardware maintenance service provides a 'FIX' service level rather than a simple response as is usual in the industry.
We will also agree with you the hardware support of client equipment if required. Otherwise we can maintain swapout equipment in our offices which can be quickly configured to get your user up and running again with the minimum delay.
Scheduled attendance
Regular attendance of your site engineer reinforces the partner relationship between your business and ourselves.
These pre-arranged site visits can be used for installations, roll-outs, network health-checks, routine and preventative maintenance etc - the choice is yours.
It can also be useful to have an IT perspective on current projects and plans whilst you have your IT support team on-site.
